Jenna Fischer's best-known role was as Pam Beesly from the popular television series The Office. In appreciation of her work, she was awarded the Emmy award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and received two SAG Awards.
The girl was born in Fort Wayne Indiana, she lived her entire childhood living in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna watched as her mother Anne performed in church plays. She was awed by performance and theater began when she was a young girl.
Fischer was a theater actress who was trained in her home country. In the Off-Broadway Play Reasons To Be Happy written by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer was the lead. After starring in Steve Martin's most recent play Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy featuring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she performed in the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast that airs on Earwolf in the month of October. The show has been hugely successful, reaching its Top Ten worldwide every week as well as receiving over 200 million downloads during its initial two years. The podcast premiered in January of 2021. Office Ladies won iHeart Radio's Podcast of the Year award.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office: From Two Best Friends There. This memoir is about their friendship and the work they did for The Office.
