Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actress who was famous for the role of Buffy Summers. Her other roles include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the television film Nightingales as well as the short-lived NBC show of similar name, Erica Paget, as Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. She was born in California and became interested in acting as an infant. She was a part of the world of advertising, appearing in numerous commercials. Her first appearance on TV was in the NBCs It's Your Move sitcom in 1984. She made her screen debut in 1986 on a romantic comedy called Pretty in Pink.
